rewarded for being annoyed......!

In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.

I can't think of where i'd be without Islam. Honestly thinking about it, my life would be a complete shambles and a great mess if i didn't believe in Allah (SWT)- and even when trials and tests are put to me and i just feeling like giving up (which does happen!) just simply believing and knowing that it's to make me a better person, gets me through with the support of people around me Alhamdulilah :D

I was quite annoyed the other day (for reasons i won't mention :P ) but i came across this Hadith and Subhan Allah it seemed directly aimed at me and the situation i was in!!! I shall quoute it now insha Allah:

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:

The Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:

“The believer who mixes with people and bears their annoyance with patience will have a greater reward than the one who does not mix with people and does not put up with their annoyance.

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (5207) and Ibn Maajah (4032)

HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THAT??????????????

We get annoyed at people- yet Allah rewards us for bearing with it and putting up with it!!

Seriously God is Great!!

On another note- to all those studying their finals or just plain studying, may Allah make it easy for you and make you the top amongst the nation and even the world!!! why not? let's think big people!!!

also with the rest of us who are working- may Allah make it a means for us to spread the message of Islam through our Adhab and the way we carry ourselves, purify the way we earn our wealth and the way we spend it....as there will be two questions in Yawm ul Qiyyama about our finances: 1) how we earnt it 2) how we spent it

Alhamdulilah- finally found that Hadith!!!!

The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “The feet of a servant will not move on the Day of Judgment until he has been questioned about four things): his life - how he spent it, his knowledge - how he acted upon it, his wealth - where he earned it and how he spent it, and his body - how he used it.”

Tirmidhi, Kitab sifat al Qiyamah wal Raqa’iq
